flAi Participates in Expert Panel on AI for Airline Crew Planning & Operations

On June 26, flAi took part in a FlightGlobal webinar sponsored by Jeppesen, joining a panel of leading industry experts to explore the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in airline crew planning and operations.

The conversation moved beyond the general hype around AI, offering a grounded and nuanced discussion aligned with flAi’s vision of AI as a deeply integrated, human-centered technology that must be approached in an aware and responsible manner. Two key themes emerged:

• A methodological perspective on framing AI not as a stand-alone solution, but as a powerful enabler and amplifier when effectively integrated with state-of-the-art optimization and advanced analytics techniques.

• A focus on human–AI interaction, highlighting how AI can meaningfully support and enhance human workforce capabilities—not replace them—through collaboration, transparency, and decision support.
